Pay Bills Schedule

It’s all about keeping track and being better organized. A pile of bills is a timewaster like no other and it can be very costly to forget a bill is due and pay it after the due date. Banks and companies don’t care that its only a day late, they rub their hands in glee and hit you up for a $30-$50 fee.

They love disorganized people for this reason, the fee could well be more than what they’ll get in interest that month. Comeback? Well some news articles have said that if you are prepared to argue the point, banks don’t have legal standing on this, but if you are too disorganized to pay on time, I doubt you have what it takles to argue yourself through to the person who may have the standing in the company to reverse it!

So lets use the Pay Bills Schedule to make sure we pay on time. It’s a simple enough schedule, a year divided into month columns, with days down one side. Each day has four cells for data and I use these to enter an amount, to indicate if the bill is due or paid and the other two cells can hold a company name and a common name or one could take a receipt number if you prefer.

The Pay Bills schedule template totals at the bottom of the amount columns and also has an area where you can enter cash purchases if you choose to for budgeting. You’ll be able to see when your bills on due on this schedule. After a few months you’ll also have a fair idea without looking when you should be paying bills. No more paying the banks penalty fees!
