To-Do Workbook
To-Do Workbook
The To-Do Workbook is a set of repeated templates for managing a project, a goal or any kind of objective where a large body of work needs breaking into smaller steps to achieve it. Depending on the size of the goal the free pages in this workbook will also have daily, weeekly, monthly or yearly schedules to keyword track starting dates, events and deadlines.
The steps first need to be defined and planned out. You will do this in the preliminary sheet. Subsequent sheets are the same so you can copy over row data without making any adjustments.
After you have defined your steps and sorted them you can copy and paste into a sheet for sorting tasks by priority and then into sheets you can print off for delegating to a team if you wish.
Tasks that don’t get completed in a week are carried over to the next week’s to-do workbook. Completed tasks can be recorded and include set rewards if you use them. Each weeks workbook can be saved by date so if you need to step back and see where something went wrong, you have a record of what was expected and can gain insight into the error.
Most people choose their own schedules to include in this workbook to keep a longer view in sight and create checkpoints for starting dates, progress checks and deadlines for client interaction and completion of stages.
These sheets often look like a foreign language to other people but the creator knows what they mean. In the example below the project manager has used the initials of people to indicate a team of 3 people, and numbered the teams . In this way anyone on the job can figure out where someone should be and what they are working on. As no days are defined, this is just a simple check list to remind the manager of weekly duties that must be done.
