White Listing
How To “White List” Emails To Make Sure Trusted Emails Are Not Filtered. And The Downside of Spam Filtering.A valid email is required from you because we send the download link to this email address. If your email inbox is full and the email we send bounces or is invalid because the address is misspelled in any way – YOU WON’T GET THE EMAIL – and you will need to chase me up to give you another link. But what if the email arrives and you cannot find it? If you check your email inbox and can’t find the email, then you have to look in the most likely place for it. Generally this is the junk mail folder or spam folder of your email account. Spam filters are sometimes so aggressive that any email from an unknown address gets placed here so you can check it first and decide if its something you asked to read or an unsolicited spam communication. If the email is here, the initial problem is solved. But if you expect to get further communication from trusted email addresses, you don’t want to have to troll through multiple emails of lottery scams or viagra ads in your spam folder to find them! You can save yourself time and ensure that the next email won’t be a problem by selecting an email and clicking on the “not junk” icon (or similar) to “whitelist” the email address. This process is slightly different for each email client but there are some basic instructions below for the main email providers. These are the email addresses from this site that may need whitelisting. They are in picture form and not copy and paste form, because I will get spam in the bucketloads if I place an email address directly on a webpage, so I apologise in advance for the inconvenience, but you will have to type them in. If you click on the picture, it will open the contact me page to send me an email if you need these written down and cannot see this picture.
